Our family’s passion for the Llano, Texas Hill Country began 20 years ago with an invite to come hunt on a ranch nearby. From that point on, we spent every hunting season exploring various leases, dedicating countless hours to enhancing the deer herds. Despite our efforts, we often had to start over in new locations, which led to a deep desire for a more permanent solution.

Viejo Creek Outdoors was born in 2006 out of Keith Simpson’s vision to create a lasting legacy. Frustrated with the constant cycle of switching from lease to lease, Keith decided to invest in land that would be ours to manage and cherish for generations. This decision marked the beginning of our journey toward establishing a premier hunting destination.

Our family-owned and operated business spans over 1,500 acres in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, an area celebrated for its exceptional wildlife, particularly large bucks. At Viejo Creek Outdoors, we offer more than just a typical hunting experience. Our expansive property is home to trophy Whitetail, Turkeys, Doves, and Exotics, providing diverse hunting opportunities for enthusiasts.
